You Can Trust Him: Jesus Reveals Himself to His Disciples
In this expository sermon from Mark 6, we see Jesus intentionally drawing his disciples away from the crowds to build their trust in him. Through the feeding of the five thousand, Jesus does not merely meet a practical need — he orchestrates a divine moment designed to teach his disciples that he is completely trustworthy and abundantly sufficient. The sermon calls each listener to cast out the lie that God does not care, and to rest confidently in the One who goes to the cross precisely because he does.
