Who is God, and how can we truly know Him? In this sermon, Leon Pretorius walks through two pivotal moments in Exodus where Moses asks God His name and asks to see His glory — and God answers both. From the sacred name Yahweh to the proclamation of His character in Exodus 34, we discover a God who is self-existent, unchanging, eternal, holy, and — remarkably — both perfectly just and overflowing with compassion. These two attributes, which seem impossible to hold together, meet and are reconciled for us at the cross of Jesus Christ.
