What does it look like to glorify God through the ordinary work of daily life? In this sermon from Colossians 3:22–24, Tiaan Redelinghuis unpacks the two governing principles of God-honouring work: working heartily — with sincerity, vigour, and wholeheartedness — and working as for the Lord, recognising that God is our true and ultimate Master. Tiaan then walks through five common challenges that threaten this calling — laziness, harsh masters, the pursuit of wealth, comparison, and ethical compromise — and shows how Scripture speaks into each one. The sermon closes with the encouraging reminder that diligent, faithful work is not overlooked: the Lord sees, and He rewards.
