Why did God create everything, and how does He accomplish His purposes? In this sermon from our Systematic Theology series, Leon Pretorius explores the works of God — creation, decrees, and providence — showing from Scripture that God created all things to display His glory and to be known and enjoyed by those He made. Far from being a distant observer, God sovereignly governs every detail of creation through His providence, working all things after the counsel of His will. Knowing this God — the only truly all-satisfying Being in existence — is the source of our deepest and most lasting joy.
